ENGINE Project Dissemination during Open Days at the Krakow University of Economics

During the Open Days held at the Krakow University of Economics on March 25-26, 2026, members of the ENGINE project actively engaged in a range of dissemination activities aimed at prospective students.

The event brought together a large group of young people considering pursuing higher education, providing an excellent opportunity to present the main ideas, objectives, and achievements of the ENGINE project. The dissemination efforts were carried out in close cooperation with the promotion of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Economy, ensuring a coherent and engaging presentation of both the study offer and the broader educational perspective developed within the project.

This joint approach allowed participants not only to explore the available study pathways, but also to better understand how the ENGINE project contributes to shaping modern entrepreneurship education. Project representatives introduced key concepts related to rural entrepreneurship, emphasizing the need for more context-sensitive, inclusive, and community-oriented approaches to innovation and business development.

Thanks to these combined activities, visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project’s goals, its key results developed so far, as well as the upcoming actions planned within the ENGINE initiative. Informational materials, presentations, and direct conversations created a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and inspiration.

Participation in the Open Days proved to be an important step in raising awareness of the project among future students. It also encouraged them to reflect on diverse educational and career paths, highlighting that entrepreneurship can take many forms and play a vital role not only in urban settings, but also in rural and regional contexts.
